Wrote the first book in India

The first book in India was likely written by Aryabhata, an Indian mathematician and astronomer who lived in the 5th century CE. However, there is some debate over the exact authorship of the earliest Indian texts, as many of these works were passed down orally for centuries before they were written down.

The history of Indian literature is a rich and diverse one that spans thousands of years and encompasses a wide range of genres and styles. Some of the earliest known works of Indian literature include the Vedas, a collection of religious texts that were composed in Sanskrit between 1500 and 1200 BCE. Other important works of Indian literature include the Ramayana and the Mahabharata, two epic poems that were composed in Sanskrit around the 3rd century BCE. In addition to these religious and mythological texts, India has a long tradition of poetry, drama, and other forms of literature that have been passed down through the generations.
